Requisitos para solicitar el TPS:


Si llegaste a Estados Unidos antes del 31 de julio de 2023, eres elegible para solicitar el TPS. Esto te otorga protección legal y la oportunidad de trabajar en el país. Sin embargo, si llegaste después de esa fecha, no podrás acceder a este beneficio y estarás sujeto a las leyes migratorias regulares, lo que podría llevar a la expulsión si no tienes una base legal para permanecer en el país.

 

Pasos para obtener el TPS:


Si cumples con los requisitos, debes demostrar que eres ciudadano venezolano y que has estado residiendo continuamente en Estados Unidos desde el 31 de julio de 2023. Los formularios clave son el I-821 (para el TPS) y el I-765 (para la autorización de empleo). Si ya has presentado estos formularios con la designación anterior, no es necesario que los presentes nuevamente. Aquellos que aún no han aplicado pueden hacerlo durante el período de registro inicial, que se anunciará en breve.
